A very edgy (proceed with caution!) project about the risks of sharing photos online. The topic is especially topical with the rise of very accessible AI tools, which allow anyone to easily manipulate photos and the truth.

For this project I manipulated mine and my friends very normal, innocent photos (with their consent, obviously)by using Photoshop AI tools to raise awareness.

The publication tells a story about my grandmother and her journey as a postal worker in the Latvian country-side in the 90’s.

The publication is separated in two parts. In the first one I get to know the unique nature of the work and the social worker aspect of it. In the second part I go on her old daily route and capture what she saw back then.

Design-wise I was inspired by the oddities of the postal service world. Looking through the publication you can see parallels with the big numbers on postmarks, Latvian Postal service colors and shameless stamps.
