Always searching for light amid the flood of information.

I’m inspired by the passion people bring to living and creating, and I try to weave that same spark into my own work!

Design shouldn’t stay hidden away it belongs being worn on skin, felt in hands, and always within the gaze.

The publication tells a story about my grandmother and her journey as a postal worker in the Latvian country-side in the 90’s.

The publication is separated in two parts. In the first one I get to know the unique nature of the work and the social worker aspect of it. In the second part I go on her old daily route and capture what she saw back then.

Design-wise I was inspired by the oddities of the postal service world. Looking through the publication you can see parallels with the big numbers on postmarks, Latvian Postal service colors and shameless stamps.

Always searching for light amid the flood of information.
